The Nonprofit Organization Laboratory is pleased to announce the Global Social Innovation Seminar 2020.

This online seminar series invites young scholars from Japan and abroad to talk about social innovators as change agents. Topics include community currencies, peace and humanitarian NGOs, and rural nonprofits at global and local levels.

There will be three sessions held over six weeks starting November 4.

Jeremy September from Tohoku University's Graduate School of Economics and Management will kick things off with a discussion on the long-term management of Japanese community currencies. His talk will also highlight how certain aspects of Japanese culture have created unique and interesting community currency models.
